Welcome to the Alaska Aviation Safety Web Portal

Every nine days, there is an aviation related fatality somewhere in our great state. The purpose of this aviation toolbox is to decrease this statistic through education, data compilation, and enhanced cooperation. Existing agencies and public resources are working diligently to prevent accidents and to respond when they occur, yet safety in a state as expansive, treacherous, and alluring as Alaska is a challenge even for the best of rescue organizations.

Our intention is to empower and extend the impact of Alaska's coordinated rescue efforts while engaging the public with innovative information systems and an intuitive interface to all the information the web has to offer.
